Apologies for my tardy upkeep of this blog but the last few week have kept me sufficiently busy and as such I have found little time for this enterprise. Some news though; I took a beginners Latin course in Trinity college for a couple of weeks which was surprisingly intensive and well worth the time and effort. Just got my accomodation for Bristol sorted out last week which has really woken me up to the reality of colaiste abroad next year and on inrelation to that any and all suggestions for potential thesis topics are welcome because right now I have absolutely no idea what mine will be on

Macka did you ever try get through Kershaw's monster of a biography on Hitler? I keep going back for a couple of hundred pages then leaving it again. This time next summer you'll be where I am, knee deep in post grad thesis. It's a lonely world.
Also I'm reading Goldsworthy's book on Caesar at the moment, I imagine near pointless if you've actually done Classics but it's a good read.
hey Ron, no I haven't read Kershaw's book or Goldsworthy's for that matter. I've just finished Beevor's D-Day (which is class) and am revisiting old classical source texts (oh joy of joys) for next year.
