Junior Seau Back With The Pats

Occasionally in sport there appears an aging veteran that simply refuses to retire. Rarely however, does this stubborn vet back up his determination to keep going with quality play. Most exhibit some kind of drop in form but not Seau. He may not get as much game time any more but the 'old man' of the Patriots linebacker team still plays a significant role in the Patriots complicated defensive schemes.

The 38 year-old 12 time Pro Bowler has re-signed with the New England outfit for another year, in another desperate bid to end his career with a Superbowl ring. Seau had played 13 years for San Diego, then 3 in Miami before returning to the San Diego to retire but the Patriots lured him out of retirement last year and he played the first 11 games of the season for New England, registering 70 tackles, before breaking his arm in the Chicago game.

Couldn't finda vid of Seau but here's one of Sam Mills and his fellow linebacker corps from the 1980s Saints' teams dubbed 'The Dome Patrol'
