Ireland Squad for the Churchill Cup

Ireland are sending two squads abroad this summer, one to Argie Bargy and the other to Canadia. Both squads are relatively devoid of full international players to allow the big names to rest up before the world cup. With so many prominent players sitting out Eddie is finally giving the up and coming players of Irish rugby a shot at the big stage. For the younger guys this is their chance to prove to the Irish management that they are ready to play for the full Irish team, for others an oppurtunity to fight their way back into contention for a start come Autumn.
