Ireland Squad for Argentina

This was surprisingly hard to find... but anyway ye this is the Ireland squad heading down to South America to take on ze Pumas. I've no idea if Argentina are planning on putting out a full strength team but we sure as hell aren't. Is this a smart move on Eddie's part? Considering that we have to play the Argey in the group stages of the world cup as well as France. How damaging a blow psychologically would it be to lose to them over the summer? On the flipside how much of a boost would it be to beat them.... then again that'd make us uncomfortable favourites come Autumn to beat them... Irish dunnae like expectations being heaped upon us (France - Six Nations). At least Eddie is giving some of the potentials a shot though, gathering experience, and he's not gonna be giving much away to the Argwentines either by holding back some of the lads for the world cup. Should be more constructive than that joke of a tour to Japan anyway, anyone remember that?
'Yes, well we'll be starting Peter Stringer and David Humphreys at half-backs, they need the experience... oh and there's that up and coming centre we're giving a shot too, Kevin Maggs...'... ladies and gentlemen, the next Lions coach Eddie O'Sullivan, king of the conservative selection

Forwards (17):

Backs (13):

Isaac Boss (Ballymena/Ulster)

*Tomas O’Leary (Dolphin/Munster)
Eoin Reddan (Wasps)
Jeremy Staunton (Wasps)**
Andrew Trimble (Ballymena/Ulster)
Paddy Wallace (Ballymena/Ulster)

There are a LOT of fringe players in this squad. I'm hoping for a big tour from Jennings, Hogan, Bracken (cos how good would it be to have an ex-Andrews boy in the Ireland team), Kearney, Geordan Murphy, Boss or Reddan or both, Staunton or Wallace or both. * denotes an uncapped player, ** means availability subject to a fitness test.
As an aside, I just realised Bracken could win a Heino cup medal with Wasps this year, Andrews boy wins Heineken cup! Haha, up yours 'krock
