Favre Wants Out

Green Bay Packers spokespeople have apparently confirmed that two or three days after the recent NFL draft Bus Cook, (Brett Favres agent) contacted the Packers general manager Ted Thompson conveying his clients wish to be traded. Although details are in short supply it seems that Favres desire to leave stems directly from the Packers inability to sign Randy Moss which would have boosted their receiving corp considerably. This may just be a case of the quarterback blowing off steam, but head coach Mike McCarthy is not taking any chances having immediately rung the Green Bay QB of 16 years to reassure and calm him down. The situation looks to be stabilised though there is an air of doubt surronding the issue and if the full deatil are revealed they should prove to be interesting.
